The Castle parlor has a “new” old rug! After several years of discussing, researching, and searching private and dealer offerings, a vintage handmade “Persian rug” was found and purchased to replace the heavily worn machine-made rug in the parlor. Join us as Castle Collections Manager Wes Clarke and rug expert John DeWert discuss the origins, design and manufacture of the replacement rug, as well as general features of the oriental rug market.
