From home loved ones continued to care about their soldiers by continuously writing letters and sending care packages filled with goodies, including sweet treats. In this hands-on baking activity, we’ll make a classic pound cake, commonly included in care packages. While baking, we’ll discuss the ways people at home aided their friends, family, and neighbors serving in the military.
