Bring your entire family to enjoy an evening of active fun and learning as you time-travel back to 1855 at The Castle. This free family-friendly event, from 6 to 8pm, features a variety of activities for all ages. You will get a glimpse into the active lives of the Clarke family and their servants, circa 1855-1856, when they first moved into their newly built home. Lend a hand in the summer kitchen to roll out dough for “jumbles” cookies, and learn about authentic treats and meals for the family. Play children’s games in the parlor. Watch demonstrations of equestrian care in the carriage house. Each of these three demonstrations will begin every 20 minutes, starting at 6pm and concluding at 8pm. Show up anytime between 6pm – 8pm to enjoy these activities.
Admission is free. Donations are welcome to help us continue to offer events like this one.
