Learn about Harriet Beecher Stowe’s Ohio connections. She was able to write the internationally famous anti-slavery novel, Uncle Tom’s Cabin, because of the 18 years living in the border city of Cincinnati, OH. This session will demonstrate how Harriet learned what was necessary for her to write the book and highlight Harriet’s many links to the Underground Railroad. We’ll combine discussion and video as we learn together.
