The Castle provides wide ranging educational and community-oriented opportunities for all ages.
Whether you wish to book a school or scout program, schedule a bus or group tour, attend an educational program, rent our facilities, or simply want to take a tour of our 1855 Gothic Revival house museum, we have something of interest for everyone.

Hours
The Castle is open for tours from April through December.
Spring and fall hours:

Summer (June-August) hours:
Monday: 10am - 4pm

The Castle Museum is closed Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve.

Tour Information
Tickets for Castle tours can be purchased on-site at our Carriage House Interpretation Center or by phone.
For Group Trips (Bus Tours, Field Trips, Clubs, etc.) of 10 individuals or more, please call us to book your reservation and learn about our discounted group rates.
Want to expand your visit? The Castle also offers group tours of Mound Cemetery. To add this to your group tour package, please call us to schedule this along with your Castle tour.

The Castle is located on Fourth street in downtown Marietta. From Interstate 77, proceed west on Greene Street until it intersects Fourth. Turn right and proceed four blocks. We are located on the right hand side of the road.

Parking
Regular museum parking is located street side on 4th Street.
Limited handicap parking is available via the alley (High School Lane) behind the Castle, between 4th and 5th Streets (wheelchair accessible).
Accessibility
As a historic house, the Castle has fourteen steps from our street side parking located on Fourth Street, however limited ADA accessible parking with a wheelchair ramp is located via High School Lane behind The Castle.
Inside the Castle, a staircase with twenty steps lead visitors to our second floor. For those unable to navigate these, a wheelchair accessible tour will be given of the first floor, followed by a video tour of the second floor rooms will be offered.
