Tour Guides
The Castle receives thousands of visitors throughout the year to tour the house. Volunteer docents of the home and past residents. We educate groups by interpreting the history always welcome new volunteers to take part in this educational and rewarding opportunity.
Youth Programs
Cooking over a fire, Victorian games, crafts, house tours, and elegant teas are frequent activities at The Castle. We have many programs that teach children what it was like to live in the mid 1800s. We also have special events for kids such as book clubs and Christmas Teas.
Additional Programs
Our other programming includes speakers, hands-on workshops, bus trips, and living history events.
And Much More!
Opportunities are available to help with grounds keeping, collections care, or office management. We also welcome those with a knack for social media, photography, or marketing!
Internships
College level students interested in interning at The Castle can apply by contacting our Education Director, Kyle Yoho. [email protected]. Experience at The Castle includes public history, education, marketing, leadership, and much more.
